About Us
Top Offshore Betting Sites is an independent comparison site for US bettors looking at offshore sportsbooks — betting sites licensed outside the United States that accept American customers. This page explains who writes the reviews, how the rankings on renegaderadio.org are put together, how we get paid, and the limits of what any review site can tell you about an operator that sits outside US regulation.
You must be at least 21 to use most of the sportsbooks we cover (18 at a small number of them, depending on the operator's own terms and your state). If gambling stops being entertainment, call 1-800-GAMBLER. Our responsible gambling resources go into more detail.
What this site is for
Roughly half the country still has no legal, regulated online sportsbook, and plenty of bettors in states that do have one find themselves limited, restricted, or unable to get the market they want. Those bettors go offshore. They deserve honest information about it rather than a wall of affiliate banners.
So our job is narrow and practical: compare offshore sportsbooks on the things that actually decide whether a bet is worth placing — price on the number, market depth, limits, how fast and how reliably money comes back out, and what a bonus really costs in rollover.
The legal position, stated plainly
Offshore sportsbooks are licensed in jurisdictions such as Curaçao, Panama and Costa Rica. They are not licensed or regulated by any US state gaming commission or board. That means:
- No US player protections. No state-mandated segregated player funds, no regulator-backed dispute resolution, no guaranteed payout if an operator decides to stall or refuse a withdrawal.
- A legal grey area. Accepting US customers is not the same as being authorized to serve them. Federal and state law treat operators and individual bettors differently, and state law varies considerably. Check your own state's rules before you deposit.
- Weaker responsible gambling tooling. Deposit caps, cool-offs and self-exclusion are mandatory at licensed US operators. Offshore sites may offer less, or nothing.
- Tax and legal questions are yours. Anything we write on those topics is general information. Consult a qualified professional about your own situation.
We will not describe any sportsbook on this site as safe, guaranteed to pay, or legal for you personally. We can tell you what an operator advertises, what its track record looks like on public evidence, and where the open questions are. That is the honest ceiling.
How we research and rank sportsbooks
We research and verify; we do not claim to have deposited, wagered or withdrawn at these operators. Everything material is checked against the sportsbook's own published terms, its licensing page, and publicly available reporting, and time-sensitive findings carry a date. This page was last fact-checked on Sep 25, 2026.
| Criterion | What we look at |
|---|---|
| Odds and pricing | Standard vig on point spread and totals markets, whether reduced juice is offered and on which sports, moneyline pricing on favorites and dogs, futures margins |
| Market coverage | NFL, NBA, NHL, MLB, soccer, golf, MMA, plus prop bets, same-game parlays (SGP), live/in-play betting and any racebook |
| Limits | Published maximum stakes by sport and market, and whether higher betting limits are available on request |
| Payout speed and reliability | Advertised processing windows by method, payout limits, withdrawal fees, and what public complaint patterns suggest |
| Banking | Cryptocurrency betting support, bank card deposits, bank wire, money transfer, voucher/player transfer |
| Bonuses | Headline figure alongside rollover, minimum odds, time limits and eligibility — never the number on its own |
| Trust signals | Years operating, licensing claims we can verify, site security, KYC practice, customer support responsiveness |
| Mobile | Whether there is a native betting app or a mobile browser build, and how in-play holds up on a phone |
Editorial ratings on this site are our own scores against those criteria. They are not customer-review averages and they should not be read as one. Advertised payout times are advertising until proven otherwise — we label them as such.
How we make money
Top Offshore Betting Sites earns commission when a reader signs up through some of the links here. That is the whole business model, and you should know it before you read a single review.
Commission does not buy a position. Rankings come from the criteria in the table above, applied the same way to operators who pay us and operators who don't. When an operator we have a commercial relationship with has a weakness — slow card processing, punishing rollover, thin coverage outside the majors — we write it down. A review with no drawback in it is a review that hasn't been done.
The sportsbooks we cover most closely
Our top list is where most readers start. Three examples of how we treat the operators on it, working from the top:
Lucky Rebel
Our highest-rated pick at 10.0, largely on the strength of its pricing and the breadth of its welcome package. The advertised offer is 125% up to $1,250 plus a 50 FreeBet. Before that number means anything to you, read the rollover requirement, the minimum odds each qualifying wager must meet, the window you have to clear it in, and whether your deposit method is eligible — card deposits are excluded from bonuses at some offshore operators. Limitation: it is a newer name compared with the long-established sportsbooks below it, so its track record of paying is shorter. For a bettor whose main concern is a decade of payment history, that matters more than a rating.
Bovada
Rated 9.9, and the most recognized name in offshore betting among US players, with a deep same-game parlay and prop menu across NFL and NBA. Welcome bonus is 50% up to $250, again subject to rollover, minimum odds and a time limit set out in its terms. Limitation: the headline bonus is modest next to the four-figure offers elsewhere on our list, and Bovada does not accept customers from every state — check the restricted-state list on its own terms page before depositing, because the restrictions change.
BetOnline
Rated 9.8. It earns its place on market depth and limits rather than on bonus size — a strong option if you bet beyond the major US leagues, into soccer, golf and MMA, and want in-play markets that stay up rather than freezing at every whistle. The advertised offer is $250 in free bets, with wagering conditions, qualifying odds and expiry attached. Limitation: crypto is the smoothest path in and out; card deposits can be declined by US issuers, and non-crypto withdrawals typically involve longer waits and potential fees.
Further down the list, BetNow (125% up to $2,500), Everygame (100% up to $500), BetUS (100% up to $2,000 on sports plus 25% on casino), Sportsbetting (50% up to $250 in free bets), Xbet (50% up to $200 on credit card deposits), MyBookie (100% up to $1,000 for new players) and ApuestaHoy (200% welcome offer) all appear in our comparisons. Every one of those figures is a maximum, not an amount you receive, and each carries its own rollover, minimum-odds and expiry terms. Larger headline percentages almost always mean heavier wagering requirements.
Money in and money out
There is no charge to read this site and no charge to open an account at the sportsbooks we list. Your cost is what you deposit, plus whatever fees sit on your chosen banking method. Availability for American customers varies by operator, so verify on the cashier page rather than assuming.
- Cryptocurrency — usually the fastest route out, often with the highest payout limits and the lowest fees. The trade-off is price volatility: the dollar value of a payout can move between request and receipt.
- Bank card deposits — convenient, but US issuers decline gambling transactions regularly, and cards are frequently deposit-only.
- Bank wire — higher limits, slower, and typically carries a fee at both ends.
- Money transfer and voucher/player transfer — offered by some operators as a fallback when cards fail; check the fee schedule, which is rarely flat.
Expect KYC verification before a first withdrawal at most sportsbooks, even where the sign-up itself is light. Offshore operators often verify at the payout stage rather than the deposit stage, which is the point at which delays surface.
What you can bet on
Coverage across the operators we track generally runs to point spread, moneyline and totals on NFL, NBA, NHL and MLB; futures on championships, divisions and awards; parlays and same-game parlays; prop bets on players and games; and live/in-play markets. Beyond the US majors, soccer, golf and MMA are standard, and several operators run a racebook for horse racing. Depth varies enormously between sites — that is precisely what our per-sportsbook reviews are for.
Casino and the other product lines
Nearly every offshore sportsbook also runs a casino, and often poker and esports alongside it. These share a wallet with the sportsbook but rarely share bonus terms: casino rollover is usually calculated differently and contributes differently, and a sports bonus normally cannot be cleared on slots. Where we cover casino selections we treat them as a separate product with separate terms. Readers in the UK looking at that side of things can see our Non GamStop casino coverage.
Who writes this
Reviews and rankings on renegaderadio.org are written and maintained by Luke Benson, who tracks the offshore market and updates listings as terms, banking options and restricted-state lists change. Offers move often; where a page states a bonus or a processing time, it reflects what the operator published at the fact-check date shown, and the operator's own terms govern in any conflict.
Corrections, and how to use the site
Start with the criteria that matter to you, not the top of a list. If you bet volume on sides and totals, price beats bonus size every time. If you have been restricted elsewhere, limits matter more than market count. If you want money out quickly, banking and payout history should decide it. Nothing we write is a prediction, and no tip anywhere on this site is a lock — every bet can lose, and with an offshore operator there is the additional risk that a payout is delayed or refused.
If you spot something out of date or wrong, or you have had a payout experience worth reporting, send us the details — reader reports are a useful check on operator advertising. Our terms of use cover the rest.
21+ in most cases, and never bet money you cannot afford to lose. If betting is causing you problems, call 1-800-GAMBLER for confidential help.
